The letter H is paired with a horse, supplied in tangerine, amber and reddish brown. The shape is wide rather than tall, which gives it a different balance from most of the alphabet and makes it a good choice for a pocket or a yoke. It is an obvious one to recolour to a particular pony.
Horse designs have a long life on children's clothing, well past the age when other animal motifs get put away. Try it on a denim jacket back, a saddle pad, a grooming kit bag or a stable tote.
This is the widest of the 4 inch designs at around 96mm by 77mm, so it will be close to the hoop edge. Seven colour stops across roughly 9,700 stitches. On denim, use a tearaway and a fresh 80/12 needle.
