Food Machine Embroidery Designs

Food designs live almost entirely in the kitchen. Aprons, tea towels, oven mitts, table runners, napkins and shopping bags. Cupcakes and fruit are the two largest groups here, both of which work well repeated as a border rather than used as a single central motif.

Stitching on Kitchen Textiles

Kitchen linens get washed hard and often, so keep stitch density moderate and always use a cutaway stabiliser on anything that will go through a hot wash repeatedly. Towelling needs a water soluble topper on the surface or the pile pushes through the stitching and the design looks fuzzy.
