Welcome to Embroidery Allsorts (embroidery-allsorts.com). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of this website ("Site"), including buying designs, downloading free designs and taking part in the community. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These Terms may be updated from time to time, and the current version is always on this page.

About Embroidery Allsorts

Embroidery Allsorts is an Australian business run by Alice Huntly in Queensland. It sells machine embroidery designs and embroidery software as digital downloads. Nothing is posted to you.

Buying designs

• Prices are shown on each product page. Prices are in the currency selected at the top of the page and may change without notice. The price at checkout is the price you pay.
• Payment is taken at checkout through the payment options shown, such as PayPal.
• Please check the preview, formats, hoop size and stitch count on the product page before you buy.
• Your order is confirmed by email, and your files appear in your account as soon as payment is complete.

Delivery

All products are digital downloads. Once your order is complete your files are available in your account straight away, and you can download them again from your account whenever you need them. If you ever cannot find a purchased design, contact me and I will make sure you get it.

Refunds and returns

Because every product is a digital download, change of mind purchases are not refunded. Faulty designs, or designs that are not as described, are fixed, replaced or refunded. The full details are in the Refunds and Returns Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, or the consumer laws of your own country.

Copyright and permitted use

All designs on this Site, including free designs, are copyright of Embroidery Allsorts.

You may:

• Stitch the designs for yourself, as gifts, or on items you sell as a home crafter or small business.

You may not:

• Share, copy, sell, trade or give away the design files themselves, in any format, including by email, USB, cloud storage, CD or machine card.
• Upload the design files to other websites, groups or file sharing services.
• Alter a design and sell or share it as your own.

Free designs

• Free designs are offered as a gift and may change or stop at any time.
• The daily free design is available for 24 hours and changes at the same time each day, shown by the countdown on the Site. It is your responsibility to download it within that time.
• Free designs are not resent after the free period has ended. If you miss one, you can buy it from the store.
• If a free design is missing or not working, check the Support group first in case it has already been reported, and post it there if it has not. Please report it on the day it is available.
• If a problem with the Site stops people getting a free design, the free period will be extended so nobody misses out.
• Free design questions are not answered through the contact form or replies to order emails. The Support group is the place for these, so everyone can see the answer.
• Personal circumstances such as travel or internet access cannot be accommodated. Exceptional local events, such as severe weather, may be considered case by case, and the design may be repeated.

Community agreement

I work hard to provide free designs and to be generous and helpful, and I want the community to be a kind and respectful place for everyone.

Disrespectful comments directed at me or other members will not be tolerated. If I see them, I will take the following steps:

1. If a comment may have been misunderstood, I will ask for clarification.
2. I will issue a warning explaining the expected standard of respect.
3. If the behaviour continues, the account will be banned, which means loss of access to the Site and free designs.

This is a two strike policy. Offensive personal comments are not acceptable, even when meant as a joke. Everyone's boundaries must be respected, and once set, they should not be questioned.

By taking part in the community you agree not to post:

• Content that is false, defamatory, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, sexually explicit, threatening, invasive of privacy or illegal.
• Spam, advertising, chain letters or solicitations.

Posts are the views of the people who write them, not of Embroidery Allsorts. I cannot check every post, so if you see something objectionable, please report it. I may remove any content I consider breaches these Terms.

Your account

• Choose an appropriate username and keep your password private. Use a strong password you do not use anywhere else.
• Do not use someone else's account.
• You are responsible for what you post, and you agree to cover any claims that arise from your posts.
• I may disclose account details where required by law or in response to a formal legal request.

Wellbeing

If any interaction on this Site has upset you, please contact me directly. Every member is important to me and I will help where I can. If I see a post that suggests someone may be in danger, I may act on it to the extent I am able.

Privacy

How your information is collected and used, including cookies, is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Embroidery Allsorts is not liable for indirect loss, or for results affected by fabric, stabiliser, thread, needle, hooping, machine settings or software. This does not exclude any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Your message will be posted automatically to the technical support group for further investigation.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Please confirm a payment option is selected and the terms and conditions box is ticked.</li> <li>If the checkout is not free, ensure all items in your cart are priced at 0.00.</li> <li>If checkout does not complete, empty your cart, refresh the page, and try again.</li> <li>If you are being asked for shipping details, please tell me which product you are trying to check out.</li> <li>If this does not resolve the issue, please provide full details.
