The Silly Gnome Design Set is a set of 5 machine embroidery designs with cheerful Christmas gnomes in tall pointed hats and big white beards. One gnome juggles three baubles, one holds a lantern and baubles, one carries a tall stack of gift boxes, one slides down a candy cane, and one is wrapped in a string of coloured lights. The designs use soft textured fills, with fine gold lines on the baubles. There is no lettering and no applique. They are shown in red, green and blue with white beards, but that is only a suggestion. Any shades of the same colour family will work.
These gnomes suit tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, baby bibs and clothes, Christmas stockings, table runners and quilt blocks. They sit well on cotton, linen and canvas, and on fleece for cosy gifts. Stitch the five on a set of towels or mix them across a holiday quilt.
Every design fits within 64 mm wide by 90 mm high, so the whole set fits a 4x4 hoop. The whole set has 46,151 stitches in total, so each gnome stitches up quickly. Use tearaway stabiliser on stable woven fabric and cutaway stabiliser on knits.
