Flag and Map Machine Embroidery Designs

Flags and maps are used most often on travel bags, souvenir items, commemorative pieces and anything marking a connection to a place. They are also popular for sporting supporter gear and for club and community items.

Flags are unforgiving of poor stabilising because the eye immediately picks up a wavering straight line or a stripe that has shifted. Hoop firmly, use a cutaway backing rather than a tearaway, and do not float the fabric.
