Christmas Machine Embroidery Designs

Christmas is the busiest season in machine embroidery and the range here reflects that. Tree decorations, nativity scenes, folk angels, snowflakes, cuddly characters and fringed Santa designs, alongside free standing lace pieces that hang on the tree without any backing fabric at all.

There is also an Australian Christmas group, which matters if you are stitching for a southern hemisphere summer. Snow scenes and heavy winter imagery sit oddly on a thirty degree Christmas Day, so those designs work with local themes instead.

Start Early

Christmas embroidery always takes longer than expected. Decorations are individually small but you rarely make just one, and free standing lace needs washing and drying time between stitching and hanging. Starting in September rather than December is the difference between enjoying it and rushing it.
