Floral Machine Embroidery Designs

Flowers are the backbone of machine embroidery and this category covers the range. Simple daisy outlines, embossed and shaded treatments, frangipani and tropical flowers, decorative flourishes for framing lettering, and fringed flowers where the thread is cut after stitching to create a raised textured centre.

Floral designs suit almost any project, but they earn their keep on linens, cushions, table runners and anything where the item is meant to be looked at rather than worn hard.

Shaded Fills and Direction

The shaded floral designs build depth from stitch direction as much as from colour. That means thread sheen matters. A rayon thread will show the shading far more strongly than a matte polyester, so if a design looks flat when stitched it is often the thread rather than the digitising.
