The letter X is paired with an x-ray fish. X is the letter that defeats most alphabet sets, and an x-ray fish is a genuinely useful answer to it rather than a token xylophone. The layered blues supplied give it its translucent look, and any light to dark run of one colour will do the same.
This completes an ocean group with the jellyfish, the narwhal and the seal, and it is essential if you are stitching the full alphabet for a wall hanging or a growth chart.
