The letter W comes with a weasel. The wide letter W makes this the largest design in the alphabet. It arrives in lavender, greys and pewter with a deep rose accent, and browns will give you a more familiar woodland animal if you want one.
Weasels are rare in embroidery collections, so this is one for anyone building a full alphabet or after a woodland animal that is not a fox or an owl. Suits a cushion, a quilt block or a tote where there is room for the width.
At around 109mm by 77mm this design will not fit a 4 inch hoop. You will need a 5x7 or larger. Nine colour stops across roughly 11,500 stitches, but only six distinct shades, since two of them repeat through the sequence.
