The letter Q comes with a quail. Q is always the hardest letter to find a good animal for, and a quail is a far more interesting solution than the usual queen bee. It arrives in sky blue and deep gold with teal and deep rose, and it takes speckled browns just as happily if you want a real bird.
This suits a full alphabet display where every letter needs to look considered, and it works well on kitchen and garden items alongside the chicken.
At around 86mm by 90mm this is one of the larger 4 inch designs, so centre it with care. Seven colour stops across roughly 9,200 stitches. The first shade returns at the end, so leave that spool threaded.
