The letter P is paired with a penguin. It is a clean, high contrast design that holds up well on both light and dark fabrics, supplied in dark grey and white with deep gold and a lilac accent. The contrast matters here more than the particular shades.
Penguins work all year but they come into their own for winter and Christmas projects. Try it on a stocking, a festive cushion, a hooded towel or a child's jumper, and swap the accent to red or green for a festive version.
