The letter N is paired with a narwhal, one of the more sought after motifs in children's design and still uncommon in embroidery. It arrives in layered blues with white, and a gold tusk that gives you an easy excuse to bring in a metallic thread if you fancy it.
This suits swim bags, beach towels, bedding and anything ocean themed, and it pairs with the jellyfish and the x-ray fish for a set. Purples and teals work as well as blues if you want it to match something specific.
The design measures around 72mm by 80mm and fits a 4 inch hoop. Nine colour stops, each a different shade, across roughly 7,200 stitches. If you do substitute a metallic for the tusk, slow the machine down and use a metallic needle.
