The letter D is paired with a deer. It comes set up in warm tangerine and amber with white and salmon pink details, which matches the bear if you are stitching more than one letter, but it takes naturally to fawn, tan or grey if you want something closer to life.
Deer designs carry well beyond the nursery. This one suits a Christmas cushion, a woodland themed quilt block or a personalised throw, and it is soft enough not to fight with a printed fabric. Reds and greens turn it into a festive motif without any redigitising.
