Silly Gnomes Y is a machine embroidery design of a gnome in a tall pointed hat, holding a pair of snowflake skis that spread apart to form a Y. A string of Christmas lights winds around his jumper. It is shown with a red hat, green jumper, white beard, blue skis and multicoloured bulbs, but this is only a suggestion. Any shades of the same family will work.
This cheerful winter gnome suits Christmas tea towels, tote bags, cushions, baby clothes and quilt blocks. It also looks good on a sweatshirt. The dense fill stitching sits nicely on cotton, linen or canvas, and also on fleece or knits with the right backing.
The design measures 76 mm wide by 82 mm high (3.0 x 3.2 inches), so it fits a small 4 inch hoop. With 12,864 stitches and 10 colour changes, it stitches up fairly quickly. Use tearaway stabiliser on stable woven fabrics and cutaway on knits. Files come in PES, DST, JEF, EXP, VP3, HUS, XXX, PCS, SEW, SHV, CSD, PEC and EMB.
