Silly Gnomes P

Silly Gnomes P is a festive machine embroidery design with a letter P and a cheerful Christmas gnome. The gnome wears a tall pointed hat with a snowflake, a long fluffy white beard, a round nose, gold mittens and shoes, and carries a small lantern with a golden flame. Three baubles with fine gold line patterns hang around the letter, and a fourth sits on top of the hat. The P is filled with red and white snowflakes. It is shown with a green hat, a red coat and red, green and blue baubles, but this is only a suggestion. Any shades of the same family will work, so choose what suits your project.

This initial is a nice way to personalise Christmas projects. Try it on tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, stockings, gift bags, baby bodysuits or a quilt block for a holiday quilt. It sits well on mid-weight cotton, linen or canvas, and the white beard and snowflakes stand out on darker or coloured fabric.

The design measures 94 mm wide by 90 mm high (3.7 x 3.5 inches), so it fits a 100 x 100 mm (4 x 4 inch) hoop. It has 14,476 stitches and 9 colour changes, so it stitches out quickly. Use tearaway stabiliser on stable woven fabric and cutaway stabiliser on knits.
