Silly Gnomes G

Silly Gnomes G is a machine embroidery design of a cheerful gnome with a pointed green hat, a long white beard and a round tan nose. He wears a red outfit with brown mittens and shoes, and holds up a stack of three gift boxes with gold ribbons while one foot kicks out. Beside him stands a large script letter G in green with white snowflakes. The colours shown are only a suggestion, and any shades of the same family will work well.

It suits Christmas projects and initials: tea towels, tote bags, cushions, stockings, baby clothes, gift bags or quilt blocks. Use it for a name, a monogram or a festive alphabet set. It sits nicely on cotton, linen or canvas, and also on fleece or knits when you pick the right stabiliser.

The design measures 65 mm wide by 96 mm high (2.6 x 3.8 inches), so it fits any hoop with a sewing field of at least that size. With 14,563 stitches and 8 colour changes, it stitches up fairly quickly. Use tearaway stabiliser on stable woven fabrics and cutaway on knits.
