The letter W spreads wide with a rope texture through the strokes, and the lean rooster stands in the right hand valley of it with the tall comb and the long arching tail. The letter is wide and the bird is small against it, which is a different balance to the rest of the set.
Suits a kitchen towel, an apron, a wide banner or a bag front. It is the one design in the alphabet that reads as landscape rather than portrait.
The design is 94.20mm wide by 82.60mm high, which makes it the widest in the alphabet. It does fit a 4 inch hoop but there is very little margin, so hoop carefully and check your placement before you start. Eight colour stops across 12,696 stitches, none of them repeated. Tearaway on a stable woven.
