Merry O

Merry O is a machine embroidery design of the letter O in a loose, slanted script style. The letter is filled with green stitching in horizontal bands, with small white snowflakes scattered over it. The open swirl at the top gives it a hand-drawn, festive look. It is shown in green and white, but that is only a suggestion. Any shades of the same family work well, such as forest or lime green with soft white or cream.

This initial suits Christmas tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, stockings, gift bags and baby clothes. It also works as a monogram letter in a winter quilt block. It sits nicely on cotton, linen and canvas, where the fine snowflake lines stay crisp on a smooth, tightly woven surface.

The design measures 60 mm wide x 76 mm high (2.4 x 3.0 inches), so it fits a small 4 inch hoop. It has 6,006 stitches and only 1 colour change, so it stitches up quickly. Use tearaway stabiliser on stable woven fabric and cutaway on knits.
