Merry LC w is a letter w with a loose, brush-style shape, filled with textured stitches and decorated with lots of small snowflakes. Each snowflake has fine branching arms, and a solid outline runs around the whole letter. It is shown here in blue snowflakes and outline on a white fill, but this is only a suggestion. Any shades of the same family work, so go for navy, sky blue or silver on cream if you like.
This letter suits winter and Christmas projects. Stitch it as an initial on tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, stockings or baby clothes. It also works well as a monogram on a quilt block or a gift bag. It sits nicely on cotton, linen and fleece, and the dense fill looks good on plain, light fabrics.
The design measures 64 mm wide by 55 mm high (2.5 x 2.1 inches), so it fits easily in a small hoop. It has 5,791 stitches and only 1 colour change, so it stitches up quickly. Use tearaway stabiliser on stable woven fabrics and cutaway stabiliser on knits.
