Merry LC t is a lowercase letter t with a curved, brush-like shape that also reads as a small cross. The letter is filled with satin-style stitching and decorated with white snowflakes of different sizes, with a fine white outline around the edge. It is shown here in green and white, which is only a suggestion. Any shades of the same colour family work, so try red, navy or silver to suit your project.
Stitch it on tea towels, tote bags, cushions, Christmas stockings, table runners or baby clothes for a winter initial. It also works well as a quilt block or on a gift bag. Stable cotton, linen or canvas shows the snowflake detail nicely, and felt or fleece suit it too.
The design measures 31 mm wide by 72 mm high (1.2 x 2.8 inches), so it fits easily in a small hoop. With 2,787 stitches and 1 colour change, it stitches quickly. Use tearaway stabiliser on stable woven fabric and cutaway stabiliser on knits.
