Merry LC b is the lowercase letter b from a Christmas alphabet. It is a tall, slightly slanted letter with a round bowl, filled with a textured stitch and scattered with small white snowflakes, then edged with a fine white outline. It is shown here in green and white as a suggestion only. Any shades of the same colour family work, so a deep red, a navy or a soft pastel version is easy to make.
This letter suits festive projects well. Try it on Christmas tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, stockings or gift sacks. It also works for baby clothes and bibs, or as part of a name or word in a quilt block. Cotton, linen and canvas show the snowflake detail nicely, and a sweatshirt or fleece will also hold it well.
