Merry D

Merry D is a machine embroidery design of a capital letter D with a gentle serif style and a small curl at the top. The letter is filled with green stripes and scattered with white snowflakes, and a fine white outline frames the whole shape. It is shown here in green and white, but this is only a suggestion. Any shades of the same colour family will work, so you can match it to your own Christmas or winter colours.

This letter is a good fit for festive projects. Try it on tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, Christmas stockings, gift bags or baby clothes. It also works well as a monogram initial or as a block in a winter quilt. It sits nicely on cotton, linen, canvas and felt, where the white snowflakes stand out clearly.
