Merry 8 is a machine embroidery design of the number 8, filled with soft white stitching and scattered with blue snowflakes. Each snowflake is drawn in fine branching lines, and a blue outline frames the whole figure. It is shown in white and blue as a suggestion only. Any shades of the same family work, such as ice blue, navy or silver grey with a pale fill.
This snowflake number is a good fit for winter and Christmas projects. Try it on tea towels, tote bags, cushions, baby clothes, birthday t-shirts for an 8th birthday, advent calendar pockets or quilt blocks. It sits well on cotton, linen and sweatshirt fabric, and a darker fabric makes the pale fill stand out.
