Silly Gnomes E is a machine embroidery design of a cheerful Christmas gnome standing beside a large letter E filled with snowflakes. The gnome wears a tall pointed hat with snowflake details, has a white beard, and is wrapped in a string of lights. It is shown with a red hat and letter, a green sweater, tan mittens and red, yellow, green and blue bulbs. This is only a suggestion, and any shades of the same colour family work well.
It suits tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, Christmas stockings, baby clothes and quilt blocks. It also makes a nice initial for personalised gifts. It sits well on cotton, linen and canvas, and on fleece or sweatshirt fabric for cosy winter items.
The design measures 85 mm wide by 77 mm high (3.3 x 3.0 inches), so it fits a 4x4 inch hoop. It has 14,387 stitches and 10 colour changes, so it stitches up fairly quickly. Use tearaway stabiliser on stable woven fabrics and cutaway on knits.
