Silly Gnomes B

Silly Gnomes B is a machine embroidery design of a cheerful Christmas gnome sitting on a big candy cane and waving both mittened hands, next to a capital letter B. The gnome has a tall pointed hat with snowflake bands, a long fluffy white beard, a round tan nose and little tan boots. The B is filled with a fine snowflake pattern. It is shown in red, white, blue and tan as a suggestion only. Any shades of the same family work, so feel free to swap them for your own thread colours.

It suits Christmas gifts and items made with an initial: tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, stockings, baby clothes and bibs, or a block for a winter quilt. It sits well on cotton, linen, canvas and flannel, ideally in a plain colour so the snowflakes and the beard stand out.

The design measures 85 mm wide by 88 mm high (3.3 x 3.5 inches), so it fits a standard 4 x 4 inch hoop. With 14,247 stitches and 5 colour changes, it stitches fairly quickly. Use tearaway stabiliser on stable woven fabrics and cutaway on knits.
