Zahalia has undiagnosed ADHD, the divergence is strong in our family. I had to really encourage her to take her time and keep her seems straight. She was very patient most of the time, and she was thrilled with the end result, it was some farm animal blocks that I got from temu, she stitched the squares together, then I cut the pattern and she sewed the shorts. She had only done straight bags before that. -
great job! i'm spending the afternoon today with my niece changing a jacket she bought to a shorter model. really nice to spend time sewing together with the younger generation this way!-
Yes it is great to pass on those skills, and I am able to teach her how to do things properly and not rush. It took me decades to learn that.
